Leveling up your skills will unlock new gear, press G to open this menu.

You will notice independent skills from level 1 to 50.

How to Level Up

Spend EXP to level up your skills.

To determine the exact amount of EXP required to level up a skill, you simply need to know the current experience level of that skill. For example, reaching level 21 in any skill requires a total of 20 levels worth of EXP since you leveled up from 20 to 21.

Skill Requirement

You can hover your cursor over any item, such as a tool, armor, or station, to see the required skill or skills. Additionally, you can use JEI to check the skill requirements for any item.
