Ingredients that can be used to cook in a Crock Pot must have food values. These food values measure how plentifully an ingredient can fullfill a recipe's need for certain food catefories. There are 10 food categories when cooking with a Crock Pot.

Some ingredients are not food but are needed to complete recipes, these ingredients are called Inedibles.

Food Value | Important Setting to Turn On

To see in an ingredient's description its Food Value you must turn this option TRUE on your mod configurations. This option is disabled by default to avoid players to believe that there is some sort of "diet" mod in the modpack, there is not.
